Selecting a real estate professional to represent my wife and I in the sale of our home
was a major decision. To further complicate matters, we were in the midst of
purchasing another house during the sale of our home. As such, we needed the
assistance of real estate agents with lots of experience and professionalism.
Tom and Barbara Nash came highly recommended to us by our escrow officer as
agents who fit this description, and they lived up to our rigorous standards.
Tom and Barbara worked closely with us every step of the way in these home
transactions. First they directed us in what we needed to do to stage and prepare our
home in order to obtain the highest selling price. They organized and represented us
at the open houses, contacted agents, and dealt with the big, as well as the small
details of house selling/purchasing. This dynamic real estate duo always greeted us
with pleasant voices and smiles. Tom Nash said to us before we agreed to work with
him and his wife: "It will be a pleasure to work with you and serve you." Any time
a detail needed to be worked out, Tom and Barbara would say: "We will get right on
it", and then ending a phone call or in-person meeting with: "It is our pleasure to
serve you. Please let us know of anything else that we can do to serve you". I quote
them directly in order to drive home the point that they epitomize the description of
'professionalism'.
At the same time, Tom and Barbara used their 30 plus years experience to show us
the best possible house available to purchase for our family of 3. They went beyond
the pictures and house descriptions on the MLS to provide real insight as to the pros
and cons of a potential purchase.
A real test of loyalty and service to clients occurs in the aftermarket process, and
Tom and Barbara Nash worked closely with us to answer any and all questions that
arose. The Nash's made it clear that they wanted to develop a long-term professional
relationship, and have followed up on several occasions to ensure that our house
needs are being met. They have referred us to contractors and others who have
maintained and serviced our house.

After several months, and half a dozen disappointing experiences with various realtors, my husband went onto the Keller Williams website to look for a new realtor. He saw Tom Nash and thought he looked like a friendly and experienced professional, so he gave him a call. Within the month my husband found his dream condo with the help of Tom, and closed the deal in 2004.
When my husband and I got engaged in the winter of 2012, we decided to upgrade into a larger home and Tom was the first person we called. We were eager to get started, and Tom was available to show us a full listing of homes that same weekend. Our standards were high, but Tom was relentless in helping us find our perfect home, and always jumped at a moment’s notice when something new came on the market we wanted to see.
Our situation was complicated by my husband’s long gap in his job employment, and every lender we went to declined us. Tom recommended 2 lenders he believed could help with our situation, and indeed they were each able to offer different solutions.
Behind the scenes Barbara Nash flawlessly handled all the listing updates, offer letters, lease agreements and patiently answered our many, many, many questions.
During this whole process Tom and Barbara were also diligently working to rent out my condo, and through their strict screening process were able to find wonderful renters, and at a monthly rent higher than I believed was attainable.
We closed on our new home in the summer of 2013, and signed the closing docs on my husband’s birthday. We’ll never forget it. As with most home purchases, there are many ups and downs, and many moments when we thought we’d fall out of escrow. As I sit in my beautiful home typing this, I’m appreciate that Tom and Barbara stuck with us during the questionable periods, endured our emotional outburst at times, and helped us to pull it all together and forge ahead.
Tom continues to check in on my husband and I to assist with home warranty issues, or simply to say hello. Tom and Barbara are a well balanced team, and give a personal touch to every union they make. We feel as though the Nash’s had our best interest at heart throughout the entire process, and worked hard to make our dream a reality.
To them we give a heartfelt thank you for their persistent guidance and support.
